2 month holidays, happenings & shopping sprees!

So, aside from two assignments left to hand in, I am FREE AS A BIRD for TWO WHOLE MONTHS from university! & to celebrate such an auspicious occasion, I treated myself shopping & outing wise.

First off, my April/May hauls!

This is the Ally Tote in Black/Natural tones. This was bought as a 'well done on surviving another semester' present. I'm planning on breaking it in all of this week, matched with black treated jeans, white tee & structured jacket with black or nude ballet flats. Accessories in mind will be a black & gold statement necklace & rose gold boyfriend watch. This bag is found here!

This is the Zip Panel Tote in gorgeous Olive tones. This was partially a gift- a piece of my design work won a small uni competition & I got a gift voucher & low and behold this little gem appeared in front of me! This is more of a shoulder style of bag, the above Ally tote is definitely a small tote to hang off your forearm; this bag would be great for those who like having their bag under their arm but also has enough room. You can find this green gem here!

I found myself really struggling to find the right colour brown for my eyebrows, & after some advice from my darling friend Emily-May (whom of which you can find here on her beauty blog) she suggested to me that instead of me going for a different colour all together to try a blonde brow colour pencil to fill in my brows. I've tried this BYS blonde pencil for the last few days & I love it. I like how my brows don't look fake from a colour difference & I'll definitely stick to this new colour. BYS is available at GLOSS Accessories.

This is Chi Chi's Glamorous Eye Palette in Nudes. I've slowly become more confident in using eyeshadow as part of my everyday make up look- I usually go for a basic nude eye for work and whatnot but I feel like those are a bit too heavy for me to wear every day. I'm yet to sample this palette yet but each shade is pigmented and I'm looking forward to it. This can be bought at David Jones, Myer, GLOSS & online here!

I'll be the first to admit that nail art is one of those things I get all excited & fangirly over but in reality get so frustrated at myself for lack of patience and time. I've been seeing a lot of ombre glitter nail combinations & I found this BYS 3D Effects in Confetti from GLOSS. Shown below are my nails at the moment, which is a combo of Sally Hansen's Salon Finish polish in 'Ballet Slipper' & then the mentioned above glitter polish over the top & it's my favourite- I want to try this glitter style on black nails next!

Below are a few snapshots of the last month or so of what I've been up to, & things I think are really pretty & inspiring.

Yoghurtland opened up in Manly near Mark's apartment & it's so good. My usual favourite is French Vanilla with Strawberry, topped with strawberries. So amazingly good! (◠✿)

Mark's dessert consists of Strawberry yoghurt, topped with kiwi fruit (you know, coz he's Kiwi) & chocolate chips!

Visiting our buddies at Shelly Beach, Manly!

My mum won't ever stop being a mum.

Mid month purchase- tapping into my 90's kid roots with a holographic wallet from Sportsgirl!

My girl Emily-May & myself *swooning* over Benedict Cumberbatch!

Final day at uni for two months showcased some of the most amazing designs I have seen for the Grad Show at the end of the year. It's such a scary thought to think that in a matter of a few months, four years of study is coming to an end!

My beautiful friend Clarissa

A beautiful read on the train trips to Manly after work last Thursday night.

I love everything here- found this little ensemble at a store front in Manly.

Scored this Lana Del Ray-esque head piece from Lovisa & wore it to the Vivid Light Festival in Sydney last night! I really liked it- Mark had mixed feelings but ended up tolerating it by the end of the night.

Making peace with a light sculpture around dockside at Vivid!

A view of our local bridge last night!

I hope you're all having heaps of happy adventures! My next post will definitely pick up where my haul left off from my recent Melbourne trip & also include some of my latest journal/scrapbook entries.

Stay tuned!
