| The week that was | 11.08.2013 |

Well, it's nearly 11pm on a Sunday in lieu of another intense week- I was made Production Manager of my Graduation Show team, which is responsible for creating and running the Grad Show for my course at the end of this year, so needless to say my time has been used up being in this role; not to say I am not grateful for the role itself. My tutor approached me and asked if I would perhaps be interested, and after careful consideration of her words, and the fact that she praised me for my infinite organisation made my head inflate a little bit, HOWEVER my new role has ensured my time is more valuable & for me to be super duper extra organised.

In filtered style, here is a wrap up of the week that was:

In a moment of frenzy, my need to arrange and tidy took over. I placed my succulents, my paper crane ornament & a stack of my favourite magazines in a corner and dubbed it the 'Lush Corner.' I don't know what it is about things being tidy and in their place but it has such a calming affect on me. I have looked over many times at that spot this past week, and it always manages to help me focus and cheer me up.

Needless to say my love of jewellery (particularly watches) hasn't left me just yet. I had been eyeing off this chronograph style watch for a while, and they never had it at the store I worked at, so when I was out with Mark picking up my iPhone, I ducked into the store and nabbed the last one on display. I've been wearing it all week & I love it.

Some mood boards from the Grad Show meeting taken place on Tuesday the past week. Everyone was asked to create a collage based on concepts and ideas, which would be the crux of the theme surrounding the Grad Show. I cannot begin to tell you how exciting and invigorating it is to be surrounded by such amazing creatives, and seeing something big and amazing taking shape.

More meetings and discussion taking place inside the Rabbit Hole, which is the in house graphic design studio at UWS.

Taking a moment to take in some pretty moments whilst waiting for my bus.

My Emily-May took me with her to kikki.k to buy something with a gift voucher she received for her birthday (Happy Birthday again, my darling!) & I walked out with this little mint beauty. Everything is dreamy and beautiful at kikki.k & I love me some mint.

This leather bracelet wraps around twice and is so dainty and sweet. You can find it here.

My incredibly thoughtful bought me this very sweet peach hoodie, which I have been wearing for the past few days. It's beyond comfortable and I may never wear anything else again. This was purchased from Kmart, and in addition to this colour, there are a number of others, including a light grey which I was lucky to also receive.

My attempts to be healthy were somewhat continued and stalled with this amazing Greek yoghurt berry combination of deliciousness and awesomeness- Mark and I shared this tasty treat on our day out on Saturday.

I can say with certainty this book changed me. Mr. John Green is a master conductor, and I am the little audience member totally entranced by him. It was such a powerful thing to have by my side this week, & it reminded me of easy it is to lose perspective when you're going through a rough time. After reading the many 'okay's in this amazing book, I decided I was going to be better than 'okay,' I was going to be 'great.'

That's it from me tonight- I plan on taking a picture every day to give a better idea of my week.

Stay tuned!~
