Christmas 2013 + the weeks that were! | 26.12.2013 |

Merry Christmas/Merry Boxing Day everyone!

Hope you all have had a wonderful festive season, surrounded by family, friends, good food and good times. I have been working so much at my retail job leading up to Christmas, so two days off was a welcome relief from the madness that was Christmas shopping over the last two weeks. I'm missing Manly a fair amount- the beach would be an awesome place to be because of the heat hovering around, but Christmas Day there was actual rain falling over the entire day, which, to the Kiwi, was the best gift ever. We were surrounded by family and friends and lots of good food, we skyped with his family Christmas Day morning and my Canadian extended family in the afternoon, so it was a very family oriented day.

Below are snaps from the last few weeks for the weekly wrap up(s)!

Beautiful flowers myself & the work girls got for our boss for a fantastic 2013!

I was very lucky to be invited to attend 'fugitive space' which is the PhD exhibition and work of one of my tutors at university. It was in a intimate space in Glebe and it was a wonderful night. A small bunch of students came for the exhibition and it was one of the best nights.

Postcard from 'fugitive space.'

View from the beer garden at the tail end of the night.

Mark and I at a family Christmas Eve dinner.

Merry Christmas!

Adorable wooden bird decoration on the Christmas bon bons.

I was putting away cutlery away from Christmas lunch and I saw these precious stitched pattern tea cups!

In the car on the way to see 'The Hobbit' with Mark and my mum, a Boxing Day treat. It was an amazing movie, everyone should go see it.

That's it for tonight! Hope everyone has had a great few weeks!

Stay tuned xo
