Hey there campers!
It's been a week of slowing down, which has been a very welcome change of pace from the craziness of November/December last year. Things at work are starting to slow down again, which means it's time to start looking for a full time job. I'm excited to see what opportunities come up in the coming months, and this year will be one of big changes for me- finding a job, moving out of home, saving up and hopefully getting to travel at the end of this year/beginning of 2015.
I was finally able to go back to Manly to spend some much needed quality time with the man friend, and it had been over a month since I had trekked out to Manly. Since work has slowed down, I'll be able to hang out more in Manly, which was something I was really looking forward to during the crazy weeks I had for work.
Here are some happy snaps of the week that was!

This past week I was lucky enough to head up to Leura (which for those of you who don't know, is up near the Blue Mountains) with my mother and grandmother for a day out and some shopping. Leura is a magical place, mind you the day we drove up was spent half in fog and rain and scorching sun and humid air. The shops there are really different- half home made, half vintage, with a little bit of retro here and there. (Accessories featured are: Brown Mini Tote Bag with Tassel Detail from ASOS, & Fujifilm Instax 8 in black.)
This is a mural near the Strand Arcade, and I thought it was so beautiful.
A paper origami crane in a Japanese ceramic shop in Leura. This shop was so lovely and tranquil- the shop owner made us green tea in cherry blossom mugs and we bought some lotus flower origami and origami paper for Mark.
Some funky looking glasses and plants in a store called Moonstone. This was definitely one of my favourite stores in Leura, and it had mostly candles and home ware gifts. I was able to buy a little tea light holder which is white with black ink drawn trees on the inside. I will post a photo when I am home in the coming days.
Pretty accurate summary of how I spent my Sunday in Manly- armed with new sunnies and a good book/magazine.
Me donning my new sunglasses and felt floppy hat (which by the way was an absolute steal at the Manly Markets!) & enjoying the sunshine.
That's all from me for today. In the coming days I will be making a compilation of the generous things I was given for Christmas, as well as reflections for my goals in 2014 & a few hauls.
Stay lovely~
You are just so fab xox
