The week that was | 23.02.2014 |

Oh my goodness it's been such a huge two weeks! I feel guilty for not updating as much as I would have liked to, but it's early Sunday morning and I have a little time to myself to catch up.

Over the last month or so I have been working super hard to try and find design work in any way I can, and I have been very lucky to score some freelance, part time work at Guide Dogs Australia. Guide Dogs Australia are a fantastic charity, working to bring essential services to those living with a vision impairment, as well as facilitating the training of seeing eye dogs, which I'm sure most of us have seen out and about. Working with Guide Dogs has really opened up my world view, and seeing the amazing things a human being can achieve, no matter what hand they're dealt in life. The work this charity does is amazing, and it's so gratifying to be a part of it.

For the moment it's a few design tidbits here and there, and I'm loving the atmosphere and work I am able to do. Having a reason to get up and go in the morning is something I have really missed since finishing up at uni last year, and getting out and about is always a refreshing thing.

Below are a few snap shots from the last few weeks:

Beautiful flowers on days out and about

Getting pretty with pastels!

Visiting Mecca Cosmetica with my girl Clarissa on a girl's day out

My beautiful Marc Jacobs logo ring from my love

Library lovin' in Manly!

Working hard!

And probably one of the biggest surprises of the last week...

A brand spanking new Macbook Pro!

Not going to lie to you, it's about 1.34am on Sunday morning and I am still staring lovingly at this masterpiece. Mum surprised me and took me into the Apple store before work & asked me what I thought about this laptop & I was like yeah it's a great machine- durr, next thing I know we're walking out with it for me! I am truly spoilt

That's the weeks that were for tonight/this morning. Stay tuned for a recent haul, featuring a cool/freaky looking phrenology bust, and plenty of stationery!

Stay fab~
