It was an absolute stunner this weekend in Manly, and the man friend and I walked all through the little back streets and open stalls and came across some pockets of floral gold.

So it's been a really quite week- looking for design work, and any work now to be honest, and I've had some time to work on my portfolio pieces, get myself organised and hopefully do some more shoots and hauls to post up on here.

Here's the weekly wrap up:

The week was one of copious amounts of fruit smoothies and healthy foods. This was a blueberry, strawberry, peaches, almond milk and yoghurt smoothie and it was pretty damn yummy.

This was a blueberry, strawberry and banana smoothie- was alright, but not one of my favourites. I definitely prefer berry based ones.

(Yeah I took photos of food this week) Blueberry, strawberry, watermelon and pear salad was a-m-a-z-i-n-g on a 38+ degree day.

Mark & I got to go to the beach over the weekend and it was the nicest day for it. I won't lie- we both got pretty sunburnt, but we managed to avoid the worst of the sun during the day. It was so nice to lie on the beach and just relax.

So the good news is that I took a lot more photographs this week, which will make this weekly post a bit more substantial! Uni has been crazy over the last week- we had a whole year photoshoot to coordinate and manage, and my friends were taking happy snaps for the whole day and were totally exhausted, but the day went smoothly and I'm very excited that the printed media of the Grad Show is finally taking shape.

Without further ado, here's the week that was:

In case you're unaware, I'm a massive Sherlock Holmes fan, and I'm slowly working my way through all of Sir ACD's Sherlock pieces. Don't even bring up the BBC Sherlock TV show, you will regret it.

| The weekly wrap up | 1.10.2013 |

October is finally upon us. And after a not so relaxing week off, it's all hands on deck at university. The Graduation Show is underway, and it's been a total roller coaster, but the final design outcome is amazing, and everyone worked so hard to make the pitch awesome. 

Here's the weekly wrap up of the week that was:

I was in Manly for a couple of days for photo shoots, and this is a behind the scenes shot from Little Manly.

You don't need filters when you have this natural beauty right in front of you. I call it 'Beach Palette.'

I met this little guy at a pet store in Castle Hill when I went out to lunch with my girl Clarissa. His name is Fred.

I was this close to taking him home.

I changed my hair! Nothing really too exciting, got some blonde in my layers and a cut. I love it.

| The (rather belated) weekly wrap up | 26.09.2013 |

I did promise to not leave updates so late, and the only weak excuse I can offer is that it's the mid semester break and of course my university assignments happen to ALL be due in my week off  >__<
But I digress... even though it's been a busy week, I've been able to have some time to myself and catch up with my friends. I got to see Clarissa yesterday, which was so refreshing, since I hadn't seen her in a couple of months- which for the record is beyond horrifying- and we did some light shopping, which is something we do exceedingly well. She and her husband got to go to IMATs over the last weekend, so go check out her blog about her experience and her exciting hauls!
