| The week that was + Grad Show! | 3.12.2013 |

It's nearly taken me a whole week since my last post to recover to do a weekly wrap up! I was looking through photos from last week and I'm torn between the happiness that was last week and sadness that's coming from missing my grad show family and my girls. Last week was one of the highlights of my year and I cannot wait to see my uni family in the coming weeks.

Here's the weekly wrap up!

Snapshot of my OOTD heading into the city to meet my girls.

The night's details.

I was introduced to Messina ice cream, and it's literally the greatest thing.
Vanilla, and chocolate chip cookie dough = heaven.

Lunch break after setting up the exhibition on Wednesday morning.

If you haven't had Grill'd yet, you haven't lived.
Those chips and aioli are to die for.

Walked past this magnificence on the way to the train station.
So of course we had to go inside...

I wasn't quite game enough to try this after recovering from two servings of Messina,
but the girls got some adorable macaroons which looked delish.

I'll be posting a mini Christmas haul tomorrow, so keep an eye out for that. Hope you're all having an awesome week so far!

Stay tuned~

| The week that was | 22.10.2013 |

So the good news is that I took a lot more photographs this week, which will make this weekly post a bit more substantial! Uni has been crazy over the last week- we had a whole year photoshoot to coordinate and manage, and my friends were taking happy snaps for the whole day and were totally exhausted, but the day went smoothly and I'm very excited that the printed media of the Grad Show is finally taking shape.

Without further ado, here's the week that was:

In case you're unaware, I'm a massive Sherlock Holmes fan, and I'm slowly working my way through all of Sir ACD's Sherlock pieces. Don't even bring up the BBC Sherlock TV show, you will regret it.

This is the weather we shot in, couldn't be more perfect!

My Em before the shoot.

New bedside table prettiness! I love my shadow box and succulents, and Frankie magazine makes everything look good.

On the ferry home to Manly.

Little cafe with live music in Manly, found on rollerblading adventures on Sunday.

That's all for today's post!

Stay fab~

| The (rather belated) weekly wrap up | 26.09.2013 |

...

I did promise to not leave updates so late, and the only weak excuse I can offer is that it's the mid semester break and of course my university assignments happen to ALL be due in my week off  >__<
But I digress... even though it's been a busy week, I've been able to have some time to myself and catch up with my friends. I got to see Clarissa yesterday, which was so refreshing, since I hadn't seen her in a couple of months- which for the record is beyond horrifying- and we did some light shopping, which is something we do exceedingly well. She and her husband got to go to IMATs over the last weekend, so go check out her blog about her experience and her exciting hauls!

Here's a (very belated) weekly wrap up!

Happy snaps from 'Off the Wall' mural exhibition! It was a great way to wind down after assignment presentations during the morning, and we all got to chill out & have a laugh.

Emily-May showing off her rather impressive juggling skills.

Rocked some mint and rose gold this week- necklace purchased from Lovisa (of course.)

Okay so this amazing thing happened- Mark's parents bought him a fish, and his name is Ralph, and he's this awesome, quirky fish & he's the coolest pet ever.

Art.

Oh look, art.

Moar art.

Manly by day.

Manly by night.

Stay tuned x

| The week that was | 2.09.2013 |

Sorry did I read that right? It's September ALREADY?? I will be finished with university for the year in less than two months hOW-
Anyways, I'm terribly sorry that this weekly wrap up is a day late- I promise it's not going to become a habit, I had two major assignments to hand in today and over the weekend, & it all just got rather busy.
Any who, here is the weekly wrap up!

Spring has officially sprung! There are heaps of flowering jasmine trees in my neighbourhood, and it always smells amazing.

You may recognise a snippet of this pic from earlier posts- this was a behind the scenes shot from a photoshoot I helped out Emily-May with. She has these adorable little potted plants & a veggie patch at her place. It's such a homely place, with cats!

Me running errands over the weekend with Mark- I'm so grateful for his company, and having a bag that happens to fit everything I need!

I caught up with a darling friend of mine, Lucy, over the weekend amidst all the chaos. I've known her for about two years now, & she is just this amazing person. She's the kind of friend who you can talk to all the time, & when you do eventually catch up, it's as if no time has passed at all. She's studying to be a graphic designer, and works at a fashion label already which is totally awesome and fabulous. She's been such a rock to me over the last two years, & I love her so dearly.

I think I sometimes forget how beautiful Sydney is. This is the Queen Victoria Building, and a place I go to a lot as I get my bus home from Manly around here. The city is always bustling with people and cars and traffic, but for some reason when I see this picture, I remember feeling peaceful when I took it. Mark was nearby, he's the peace in the chaos.

In the midst of this week I also managed to take some photos for yellow magazine- the accompanying article is a commentary on the changing trends of fashion, & how accessories have maintained a level of demand despite such trends. Below are some snaps from the shoot- shoes and necklaces are featured:

I hope this longer post has made up for my lateness! I have a whole bunch of hauls to go up this week- this week isn't nearly as hectic, so I'll have some more time to blog!

Stay tuned! x
